Privacy Policy for Resonance Breath

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Resonance Breath is made by ThinkAI Oy (Finland).

The short version

The app collects nothing, sends nothing, and needs no account.

That is not a promise we ask you to take on trust. The released Android build does not declare the INTERNET permission at all, so it cannot open a network connection even if it tried. The iOS build declares no permission usage descriptions, because it asks for none.

What is stored, and where

Everything the app remembers stays in its own storage on your device:

WhatWhere
Your pace, session length, sound and haptics settings, appearance App preferences on the device
Your practice history — start time, duration, pace, breath count, whether the session finished A local database inside the app

None of it leaves the device. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also clear your practice history at any time from Settings → Practice history.

What we do not do

Permissions

iOS requests no permissions.

Android declares three, and only these:

Links out of the app

Three places open your browser: the research links on the Research & sources screen, and the link to our other app on the About and session-completion screens.

Following a link takes you to a website we do not control, and that site's own privacy policy applies once you are there. The link to pecto.ai carries a plain tag identifying that you came from this app, so we can tell the two apps' visitors apart. It contains nothing about you, and nothing is sent unless you choose to tap the link.

Health and medical data

The app guides breathing. It does not measure anything about your body, does not read Apple Health or Google Fit, and has no access to heart rate or any other health data.

It is for wellbeing and relaxation. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for medical care.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version is always at this address. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect substantive changes — but a new feature that touched data would be described here before it shipped.
